There are a couple of resources that I typically recommend that provide reliable information regarding expenses that are eligible for reimbursement by FSAs. The best starting point is IRS Publication 502. Technically, the list in this Publication provides a thorough list of the types of goods and services that may be deductible from income for federal tax purposes but the FSA rules mirror these rules with very limited exceptions (primarily with regards to any type of insurance premiums and expenses for long term care services).
