The federal government sets a maximum amount that Health FSAs can allow to be rolled over every year but individual plans are also free to set lower limits or to not allow rollovers at all.Β  The maximum Health FSA rollover allowed by the federal government for plans beginning during 2025 is $660.Β  For plans beginning during 2026, that maximum will be $680.

In order to confirm the maximum Health FSA rollover allowed by your specific plan, you can consult with your company's HR representative or if you have access to a copy of the Summary Plan Description for your plan, the information will be included in that document.

Alternatively, if your plan is administered by Admin America, you can call (678) 578-4641 and one of our FSA specialists will be able to look up the information for you.

FYI... the federal government does not allow rollovers of unused Dependent Care FSA dollars so if you have a balance in that account, please spend it by the end of the Plan Year.
